Our Commitment
Avalon Storage is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that all visitors deserve equal access to information and services, and we are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our digital presence.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Our website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, meaning that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform. We are actively working to identify and address these gaps.
Technical Specifications
Our Site relies on HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. We use Google Tag Manager to manage third-party scripts. The following assistive technologies were used in our accessibility testing:
- NVDA with Chrome on Mac
- KEYBOARD-ONLY NAVIGATION TESTING
Third-Party Content Accessibility
Our Site includes content and functionality delivered by third-party providers. While we work with these providers to promote accessibility, we do not control their platforms and cannot guarantee full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance for third-party content.
Google Tag Manager
GTM itself does not render visible content. The tools it deploys (Google Analytics, Google Ads) do not present interactive UI to users and are not expected to create accessibility barriers directly.
Google Ads
Google Ads may display ad content in Google’s search and display network. Ads are rendered by Google’s platforms and are subject to Google’s own accessibility standards. We strive to write ad copy that is clear and descriptive.
Meta Pixel
The Meta Pixel is a non-visual tracking script and does not render content visible to users. It does not create direct accessibility barriers on our Site.
Elfsight Reviews Widget
Our Site displays customer reviews through the Elfsight All-in-One Reviews Widget. We have enabled available accessibility settings within the widget. However, as a third-party embedded component, full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance may not be achievable. If you are unable to access review content through the widget, please contact us and we will provide review information in an accessible format.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare provides infrastructure-level services (security, CDN, performance) that operate transparently without rendering content to end users. However, in rare cases, Cloudflare’s bot-detection features may present a challenge page or CAPTCHA. If you encounter a Cloudflare access barrier and believe it is in error, please contact us directly and we will assist you.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following limitations and are actively working to address them:
- Some older PDF documents linked from the Site may not be fully accessible to screen reader software. Accessible versions are available upon request.
- Some embedded third-party content (including the Elfsight Reviews Widget) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We are working with our providers to improve accessibility where possible.
What We Are Doing to Improve
- Conducting regular automated accessibility scans of key pages
- Manually reviewing primary user flows for keyboard accessibility and screen reader compatibility
- Providing alt text for all non-decorative images published by our team
- Ensuring all new content meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines
- Monitoring third-party widget providers for accessibility improvements
